JOANNE P. LEE, SHRM-SCP
Delaware SHRM Board Secretary Vice President of Human Resources N.K.S. Distributors, Inc. Ms. Lee is Vice President of Human Resources for N.K.S. Distributors, Inc. in New Castle, Delaware. She is a Certified Human Resources Management Professional through the University of California Los Angeles and a graduate of Neumann University in Aston, PA with a B.A. Degree in Business Management.
Ms. Lee has been in the Human Resources field for 33 years working in California, Utah and Delaware. Her experience in human resources spans the oil and gas industry, financial services, executive recruiting and wholesale distribution industries. A highlight in her career was in 2008 when she was a member of the Society of HR Management U.S. - China Executive HR Exchange Delegation to China. The team of US HR executives spent 10 days promoting international understanding, friendship and sharing best practices with Chinese students, educators and business professionals.
In 2011, Joanne joined N.K.S. Her overall responsibilities include, Strategic HR planning, Employment Law Compliance, Employee and Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development, Workers Compensation and Human Resources Information Systems.
Ms. Lee is a National Member of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Nominations Chairperson for Delaware Society of HR Management chapter 2013-2014, 2002 HRD Network HR Professional of the Year - selected from the top 25 largest credit unions in the State of California, and a former Junior Achievement Consultant. She is a graduate of Leadership Long Beach Class of 1999.
