Whether you know it as cognitive bias, unconscious bias or implicit bias, we’ve all seen how bias can get in the way of building the type of inclusive culture that contributes to organizational success.

Join us for a dynamic, interactive workshop and discover the different types of bias and how bias can prevent and deter an inclusive and sustainable workplace. We’ll discuss the legal implications of bias and how bias can lead to charges of discrimination and harassment. We’ll explore various remedies including how to use assessments to mitigate bias in hiring, day to day operations and choosing and developing leaders.

You’ll gain an understanding of:

 1. What is bias, and how does unconscious bias affect the workplace
2. How bias can hold your organization back and lead to charges of discrimination and harassment
3. Steps you can take to prevent and address bias
4. Tools that can help you avoid and mitigate unconscious bias in the workplace
5. Legal issues surrounding bias

This event is approved for 2.5 HRCI and SHRM Credits.
